[Macpartners] OS X Canon CanoScan LiDE 80 Color Image Scanner

What's not well known about Mac OS X is that it does have built-in  
support for modern scanners. You can use the Image Capture program,  
located in /Applications, to get images from scanners and digital  
cameras.

So give Image Capture a try.
