Visiting Assistant Professor in Operations and Supply Chain Management – Transportation and Logistics
 (Non-Tenure Track)

Job Description
The Department of Marketing, Management and Supply Chain at The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor (non-tenure track) in Operations and Supply Chain Management (Transportation and Logistics). The expected start date is Fall 2024. Salary and benefits are AACSB-competitive and appropriate for experience and qualifications.  Responsibilities include instruction at the undergraduate and graduate levels on campus, student mentoring, and community outreach. Hiring decisions are subject to final budget approval.

Required Qualifications
Completion of the Ph.D. degree with a major or emphasis in transportation and logistics from an AACSB-accredited institution by the start date is necessary along with evidence of quality instruction.  Applicants must be research active with publications in reputable journals in the last five years if the degree was obtained more than five years ago. Knowledge of and interest in teaching transportation and logistics reflected in prior publications and/or industry experience are highly desirable. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are important.
