Logprofs is an email posting service. The list consists of email addresses for several hundred logistics and supply chain professors and graduate students at universities scattered throughout the academic universe. Suitable postings are calls for papers, position announcements, and the like. Posting is free and is worth every cent. Anyone can join the list, and anyone can post to the list. All posts are held for review. This slows down the process a bit, but as a result, in the ~25 year history of the list, it has never been spammed... Logprofs is hosted at MIT (thanks Yossi) and is administered by Jim Masters, who isn't. To see the collection of prior postings to the list, visit the Logprofs Archives.
Using Logprofs
To post a message to all the list members, send email to logprofs@mit.edu. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to Logprofs
Subscribe to Logprofs by filling out the following form. This is a closed list, which means your subscription will be held for approval. You will be notified of the list moderator's decision by email. This is also a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
