Marquette University, Milwaukee, WI, invites applications for a full-time Operations and Supply Chain Management (OSCM) instructor with a specific interest in logistics preferred, beginning in Fall 2024 at the rank of Assistant Professor of Practice.

Position overview:
Applicants with a Masters Degree will be considered for a position including a 4:4 (8 courses per year) teaching load with additional service requirements. Applicants with a PhD can consider an alternative set up including a 3:3 (6 courses per year) teaching load with additional research and service requirements. The service component of the job will predominantly focus on engaging with activities related to Marquette's OSCM program and the Center for Supply Chain Management. The examples of these (but not limited to) are the following: Supporting OSCM recruitment events, industry visits, OSCM Club events, Women in Supply Chain club events, being an advocate for the Marquette OSCM program, both internally and externally, and interacting with the Center for Supply Chain Management's Advisory Board.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare a well-organized syllabus and teaching plans that reflect the program objectives and expectations, conduct well-prepared class sessions that effectively deliver the course content and engage students, administer meaningful and relevant assignments, and grade students' work with an emphasis on student development. Scholarly activities require the candidate to publish one publication every two years, focusing on internationally recognized practitioner journals or academic journals. Department and College service expectations as discussed above.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Masters degree preferred or substantial progress toward the terminal degree.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ph.D. or DBA from an AACSB-accredited college of business program is preferred.
