The Department of Marketing and Logistics at the University of North Texas invites applicants for a tenure track position in Aviation Logistics at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor for the Fall 2011 semester.
The candidate must have an earned doctorate in logistics/supply chain management, aviation or aeronautics disciplines. The candidate must also have aviation experience. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the following: teaching undergraduate or military and/or graduate courses in aviation or logistics/supply chain management; serving as a commercial pilot; conducting research and publishing in refereed academic journals; developing academic courses; and establishing working relationships with professionals in the aviation and logistics/supply chain disciplines. Candidates are expected to teach a course load of at least 2-2. Actual course loads are assigned based on departmental needs. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
