default expire times in 1969

[Austin Gonyou]

Currently the default principal expire times are in 1969, Dec 31, etc,
etc. 

I don't know if I just missed it in the docs or what. Can this be re-set
so all principals are updated to the correct expire time, or must I do
this manually  one by one as new principals are added? TIA
