[Gsc-oc-firstyear] What is an ID?

GSC Orientation gsc-oc at MIT.EDU
Thu Sep 2 14:55:54 EDT 2004

Dear incoming students: this email is for international students... and
others...

In the United States, you have to be 21 or older (21+) to be allowed to
drink alcohol. When we ask for ID (Identification Document), it's to check
you can drink. IDs accepted are:
- valid passport,
- valid country ID,
- valid state ID,
- valid driving licence.
The ID must have both a photograph and your birth date mentioned.

Hope this helps!! Don't forget this ID to the TechLink / GSC Orientation
banquet tonight (and other events where alcohol is served)!!

Eric and Sylvain
