[GSC Orientation]

Good morning,

We hope you all enjoyed the workshops yesterday, as well as the Welcome 
Lunch and Reception by the Campus Police and the Libraries. Today is a very 
important day, events include:


Thursday, September 2

9:30am - 11:30am    Information Booth [Lobby 10] (Last day to get your 
welcome package and t-shirt!!)
12 noon - 1:30pm     Graduate Welcome Address [Kresge Auditorium] (The 
official welcome by MIT's senior administration)
                                Spouses and Partners Welcome Area [Kresge 
Oval] (For families: Spouses&Partners at MIT will have an area and games for kids)
1:30pm - 2:30pm      Graduate Welcome Lunch [Kresge Oval] (THE biggest 
lunch of Orientation!!!)
2:15pm - 6pm          Boston Camera Safari [Departs Kresge Oval] (Discover 
Boston, Cambridge and the surroundings... and take pictures!!)
6:30pm - 9pm          TechLink Welcome Dinner and Party [Morss Hall] 
(TechLink and the Orientation Committee are holding the great banquet in 
Walker Memorial).

Hiking Trip: REGISTER!!
If you have bought a hiking ticket, but have not yet registered at 
http://csail.mit.edu/~gremio/hiking/, then please do so now. We need you to 
register or we can't assign you to routes, and it takes just a minute.
If you haven't decided to come hiking yet, check out the web page and see 
if you'd like to! Note the weather forecast: perfect for hiking!
