[GSC-HCA-Offcampus] Off-campus events this week

Dear off-campus students,

This week, we have a number of great events, including two parties 
sponsored by the off-campus party fund.

Also, on Thursday, we have our first ever off-campus coffee hour from 
8AM to 10AM in the Student Center coffeehouse.  Come by at any time to 
meet friends, chat, and get some coffee and breakfast.  An RSVP is 
appreciated (so that we know how much food to order) but not required.

1. Garden Party and BBQ
Where: Inman Square (Exact address sent to those who RSVP)
When: Saturday, April 14, 11AM-1PM

Description: Spring is here! It's arguably the best time of the year to 
get sunshine and dirt under your nails. Come garden outside, pot your 
own flowers or herbs to take home, and grill out in my backyard near 
Inman Square.

2. Brunch for MIT women

When: Sunday, 15 April 2012, 12:30pm-2pm
Where: Central Square (exact address sent to you after RSVP)

Description: Powerhouse Brunch is a time and place where awesome, 
strong, and funny women can just feel free to laugh, and have fun, but 
also vulnerable. Because I know, every one of you is terrible at being 
vulnerable. I think we need a place that it is okay not to be a 
powerhouse. Because, as much as we might like to think that it is 
possible to be continually invincible, and the person that everyone 
always depends upon it just isn't. However, I believe that with a 
community of other powerhouses, we can help one another return to 
homeostasis, and regain strength for the week to come.

6. NYC TRIP TO SEE WICKED AND VISIT THE MET!

   $120 for great seats at Wicked on Broadway, campus bus to/from NYC 
and a ticket to the Metropolitan Museum of Art!
