Hi Off-Campus Grads,

I wanted to bring to your attention the Walker Memorial Community
Meeting is today. The meeting will be run by Associate Provost Martin
Schmidt and will likely be the only large-scale public forum discussion
about the future of Walker before decisions are made behind closed doors.

For those of you that have not heard of MIT's plans, they plan on
reallocating the space in Walker Memorial and relocating the numerous
student organizations across campus. This includes the GSC office and
the Muddy Charles pub as well as other undergrad student clubs.

As I know many of you are intimately involved with and have benefited
greatly from the diversity of student life here at MIT, the student body
would greatly benefit from your presence at this event. Even if you
don't have any questions to ask, a large turnout would reflect strongly
upon the robustness of our community.

What: Walker Memorial Community Meeting
Where: Walker Memorial - Morss Hall
When: 5 PM, Feb 14th

Please stop by the meeting if you are still around campus and show your
support of this vary valuable graduate student resource.

~Jeff Chambers
GSC Off-Campus Chair
