Hi Off-Campus Grads,
Welcome back from IAP and to the start of a new term. I have received
some good ideas for off-campus events this term, but we could still use
more. So please email me if you have an event that you've been wanting
to try and would like to use some MIT money to do it!

2. Ashdown Brunch
Feb 6, 2011 Noon-1pm
Hulsizer room, Ashdown House
We are going to hold another brunch on Sunday Feb 6 in the Hulsizer room. We
will start serving at noon. It is a great chance to warm up, eat some
delicious
food and chat with your friends and colleagues.
Please help us cut down on the waste and bring your own cups, utensils and
plates. You will also be entered into a raffle and get a chance to win gift
cards to Tosci's.

3. Please join us in Edgerton House for a “Housmasters’ Tea” next
Tuesday, February 8, 8-9:30 pm in the Edgerton Housemasters’ house.
The subject of the evening will be MIT’s 150th Anniversary Celebrations
– a little bit about MIT’s history, and a guide to the celebrations that
will be going on over the course of the semester. The host will be David
Mindell, Edgerton Housemaster and Chair of the MIT150 Steering Committee.
Light refreshments will be served.

4. MIT's chapter of Amnesty International will be screening the film
"9500 Liberty" on Tuesday February 15 from 730-930PM in room 66-110. The
film is about how strict and harsh immigration policy can deeply divide
and affect a community. Producer Chris Rogupolus will be there to give
his perspective on the issue, and to help in the discussion to follow
the film. Food, drink, and admission will be free, but donations to

5.. Ivy+ Fine Spirits Showcase
An event that has been a year in the making.
