The Institute Career Assistance Network (ICAN) connects MIT alumni
with each other & students to facilitate career strategies, gather
quality advice, & open up important networking connections. More than
3,000 alumni across an array of fields have offered to share their
wealth of experience as advisors. Connect by telephone, e-mail, or
in personal meetings.
Graduate Students and Graduate Alumni are invited to attend.
Grad Students: Come to learn more about ICAN. See how you can
identify an advisor & meet local graduate alumni who are in ICAN.

Please join us at this year's JazzLink, an annual night of
entertainment hosted by TechLink and co-sponsored this year by the
Technology and Policy Student Society.
The event will take place this Thursday, January 29th in Walker
Memorial from 6:30-9:00PM and features a live Jazz band and
complimentary catered dinner. Government-issued ID required.

What: J.Crew Dress for Success workshop
When: Wednesday, January 28th, 8:30 PM
Where: J.Crew store in the Cambridgeside Galleria mall
Note:
- shuttle will run from Amherst Alley (near Kresge) to the Galleria
from 8 to 11 PM
- MIT students with ID get 15% off at the J.Crew store that evening
8:00pm: Tech Shuttle begins rotation. Pick up at MIT is on Amherst
Alley near Kresge Auditorium
8:30pm: Presentation on style at J.Crew in Cambridgeside Galleria

*Career Mentoring Event*
When: Thursday, February 5, 2009 from 7 - 9:30pm
Location: Bush Room, Building 10

This career mentoring event will be consisted of two parts:
1) general discussion (panel format) where every alumni that
represents a different industry talks about career progression
2) breakout session for smaller groups by interests for more Q&As
and networking time.
Alumni panelists had various majors and industry backgrounds
As we are going through extraordinarily difficult financial times of
history, this panel will be extremely helpful, especially, for those
who are affected by it or who are in a tough job market right now.
Light refreshments will be available for everyone.
