*Non-resident tuition reduction*

We are very pleased to announce that, effective Fall '07, non-resident
tuition will be set at 5% of regular tuition for the first three terms
of non-residency. This reduction will save graduate students
approximately $1,800 per NR term. The GSC has been working on this
issue for several years, and it is exciting to begin to see results.

*Graduate Student News is looking for Editors*

Do you want to make a difference and have high visibility on campus?
Then join the Graduate Student News (GSN) magazine, the only publication
by graduate students and for graduate students.

The GSN is looking for next year's Editor-in-Chief and Managing Editor.
Also, staff positions are available. If you're a talented writer,
photographer, business manager, layout designer, crossword puzzler, or
whatever, email gsn-editor at mit.edu to find out more.

Elections for the Editor-in-Chief and Managing Editor will take place
on Thursday, April 12, 5:30pm in 50-220. Dinner will be provided. All
graduate students interested in joining the GSN staff are welcome to
attend. RSVP to gsn-editor at mit.edu so that we can order enough food.

*2007 MIT Career Fair Directors Needed*

The GSC is looking for its next two directors for the annual MIT Career
Fair. The Fair is:

companies and 4500 students in 2006
   - Entirely student-run through a partnership of GSC, the graduating
class, and the Society of Women Engineers
   - A large source of GSC's revenue for funding of graduate student
     groups and activities.

If you're interested in bringing companies like Microsoft, Oracle,
Shell, Bridgewater Associates, Google, and Schlumberger to campus or if
you have any questions, e-mail Vivek Jaiswal (vivekj at mit.edu) for more
