Student and young alumni are encouraged to cast their vote at
http://alum.mit.edu/elections/corpballot/
to elect a recent graduate to a five-year term on the MIT
Corporation, the Institute's Board of Trustees. This annual election
gives you an opportunity to ensure that recent graduates have a voice in
the governance of MIT. This is your election--only '05, '06, and '07

Association is inviting us up the street for a free drink, free

*Dinner for Darfur*

On April 18, a dozen student groups at Harvard are putting together a
fund-/awarenessraiser for the terrible situation in Darfur.  We hope to
make a good MIT showing there, and would like to ask you to participate.

Here's how it works: you chip in $10, show up for 2 hours, get a sweet
dinner (the student organizations are donating and preparing food from
all over the world), and get to help a good cause (100% of the cost of
the ticket will be used to purchase solar cookers for Darfurian refugees
living in Chad). If there are at least 10 of us, MIT and GSC will be
specifically acknowledged.
