*GSC April General Council Meeting and Elections*

The GSC April General Council meeting will take place this Wednesday,
April 4, 5-7pm in 50-220 (Walker Memorial). Food will be served at
5pm and the meeting starts at 5:30pm.

At this meeting, the 2007-08 GSC Officers will be elected. For more

Also, elections for the Academics, Research and Careers Committee (ARC)
Co-Chairs will take place on Tuesday, April 3, 5:30pm in 50-220.

Also, the Association of Student Activities (ASA) is electing next
year's board members at the Spring GBM on Wednesday, April 11th at 7pm
in 10-250. For more info, please contact asa-president at mit.edu.

Also, the Graduate Student News (GSN) magazine is looking for next
year's Editor-in-Chief and Managing Editor. Elections will take place
during the week of April 8, TBA. Contact gsn-editor at mit.edu.

*Go-Kart Endurance Race at F1 Boston*

Event taking place on Saturday, April 14, 3-7pm. Valid drivers license
required, 18+ to drive, 12 teams of 6 drivers each will compete.

Without Transportation:

*2fast4u - HighSpeedPhotography Exhibition - Edgerton Ctr*

It is a collaboration between the Edgerton Center at MIT, the Edgerton
Explorit Center in  Aurora, NE, the Stiftsgymnasium St. Paul and the HTL
Wolfsberg, in Austria.  Bob Edgerton, the son of Harold Edgerton,
inventor and pioneer in the field, Martin Waugh (www.liquidsculpture.com),
Daniel Pressl, Alec Resnick and students from two schools in Austria will
present photographs and interactive objects at the exhibition 2fast4u.

First, there will be lots of Photographs displayed near and around the
booths (Lobby 10 and Stata Center). On some days there will also be a
photographer and he will take a high speed photograph of YOU!

Second, there will be booths in lobby 10 and the Stata Center, where
you will be able to communicate LIVE (with audio and video) with visitors
at the exhibition in Austria, students in Nebraska and students at the
two participating schools in Austria. You can have a first look at the
LIVE stream through www.redwired.org/tmp/2fast4u

Booth Times: April 2 to April 19, 8am - 1pm, Lobby 10 and Stata Center.
