*Institute Committee Reps - call for applications*

Applications for nominations are now being accepted for graduate
representatives to Institute-level Committees. These committees range
from the academically-focused Committee on Intellectual Property to the
student-life-focused Campus Dining Advisory Board. Serving as
representatives on these committees is a great way to not only represent
graduate students, but also to learn about, and to become an integral
part, of the MIT Administration. For more information and to find out
which positions are available, please refer to the Institute Committees
page: http://web.mit.edu/gsc/www/about/reps/institutereps/index.shtml.

In particular, we are now accepting applications for the Corporation
Joint Advisory Committee on Institute-Wide Affairs. This committee of
the MIT Corporation considers and advises on special Institute-wide
matters that require the attention of the Corporation, MIT's Board of
Trustees. This is the only committee on which Corporation members,
Faculty, and students interact regularly to discuss Institute-wide
issues.

Applications for all reps positions, including CJAC, are available
online:
http://web.mit.edu/gsc/www/about/reps/institutereps/institutereps-form.pdf.
CJAC Applications are due Monday, October 2. All other positions are
considered on a rolling basis, with Friday October 6 being the last day
that applications will be accepted. All apps should be turned in to
the GSC Office (50-220).

Questions? Contact the GSC Vice President (gsc-vice-president at mit.edu).
