[galib] Can I output the statistics to a file in my MFC project

I find,in ex9,the scores will output to the file "bog.dat" every 10 generations. Now I want to apply this funcion to my MFC project. But the functon "GAStatistics::writeScores()" cannot work correctly, there will be a exception.
I find gademo and tspdemo don't output scores to a file. This function cannot be used in any MFC project?
