GALib with BCC55

Hi,

I am having problems in installing GALib.

OS: WinXP
Compiler: Borland 5.5 (BCC55)

When I try to use make, I get errors. I even tried nmake but that also did not work. Is it necessary to use make and then use the library. 

Are any step by step instructions to install GALib for Borland compiler and WinXP mentioned anywhere or it would be great if someone can help me with it.
