[Dspace-general] multiple versions of a document in DSpace

Does DSpace support multiple versions of the same document? For
example, suppose I upload a document like a conference paper in a draft
form, and then later upload several updates.

If so, what is the process for doing this? Can each version of the
document have different bibliographical information (e.g., different
titles, authors)? Is there one identifier that resolves to the latest
version?

I'm not sure if this is in the scope of what DSpace is trying to
accomplish - I flipped through the manuals and didn't find a reference
to this.

Thanks!
