[Dspace-general] Java API html required

The storage and business logic layer APIs are extensively documented
with Javadoc-style comments. Generate the HTML version of these by
entering the source directory and running:  

ant public_api

e.g.  The architecture of the checker is documented in the package
javadocs, run ant public_api, and look in build/public_api/index.html. 

I have downloaded the source of 1.5, and did the mvn javadoc:javadoc
command as per instruction on the documentation.  However, trying to
execute the ant public_api, only gives an Build Failed! Error.

 

Can someone please assist us where these files are located or how we can
go about in finding these?
