Dear Student Group Leaders,

Please read the following announcements carefully:

*Fall/IAP Funding Applications Open Now*
The Student Group Funding Council has opened its <Fall/IAP Funding 
Application <https://cglink.me/2cy/s793>>. Applications are due *by 
August 1st.*

_All ASA-recognized student groups are eligible to apply for SGFC 
funding_, even if they were previously classified as unfunded. The SGFC 
is taking over funding previously done by UA Finboard, GSC Funding 
Board, and ASA LEF/ARCADE, which will no longer be available.

If you or your groups have any questions, you should reach out to the 
SGFC at <sgfc-exec at mit.edu>. The SGFC is also holding info sessions in 
July for anyone wanting more details; you can <register for one on 
Engage <https://engage.mit.edu/events?group_ids=53387>>.

Finally, the SGFC has provided the below timeline for its funding process:

  * Preliminary allocations: August 15
  * Appeals begin: August 25
  * Final decisions: September 2
