Dear Student Group Leaders,

Please read the following announcements carefully:

>> IAP Midway Instructions

------------------------------------------------------------

IAP Midway tomorrow 2/5/21, 11AM-1PM ET

Thank you to all the groups who signed up to participate in the Midway tomorrow February 5th from 11 AM to 1 PM Eastern Time! If you did not sign up to participate, we are not accepting any late applications. If you did sign up to get a page created or a new access link sent but have not received that information yet, please email <techx-devops at mit.edu<mailto:techx-devops at mit.edu>> ASAP.

The format of the event is eight Zoom calls organized by the club categories with breakout rooms for individual groups that participants can move between freely. You can find the ‘map’ of groups on the ASA website: <http://asa.mit.edu/sites/default/files/documents/IAP21%20Midway%20Group%20Directory.pdf> These links will be available on the midway.mit.edu site, and we are uploading the links on the website backend: you do not need to add your own Zoom link, and should not change it once it has been uploaded. (It will get very confusing for students trying to find groups if they are switching between the large calls and individual ones, and the point of this format is to streamline exploration.) We are directing students participating in the event to both the midway.mit.edu site and the ASA homepage, to discover groups with whichever platform they find easier, whether with a more nuanced search on the Midway site or through exploring the broader categories.

If you have any other issues or questions, please email us at <asa-exec at mit.edu<mailto:asa-exec at mit.edu>>.

------------------------------------------------------------

We hope you are all doing well and staying safe; as always, please feel free to email <asa-exec at mit.edu> with any requests, questions, or other inquiries.

Sincerely,

The ASA Executive Board
