[ASA-Official] LEF/ARCADE deadline March 11

Dear Student Group Officers,

The deadline to submit applications to the Large Event Fund (LEF) and/or 
the Assisting Recurring Cultural and Diversity Events (ARCADE) fund is 
Friday, March 11, at 11:59 pm. This next deadline is for events 
occurring between 4/01/11 and 6/30/11. The application and more 
information about the funds are available online: 
http://web.mit.edu/asa/resources/large-events.html.

You are encouraged to meet with the SAO event planner (Alicia Erwin) to 
discuss your application during her posted LEF/ARCADE office hours. We 
will look more favorably on groups that have met with SAO. Additionally, 
groups proposing events with outside speakers/performers are REQUIRED to 
hold an SAO meeting. To get a meeting with Alicia during her office 
hours, you can either sign up ahead of time on the sheet posted on the 
SAO office door (W20-549) or show up during the posted time slots and 
wait for an opening. Alicia will not see students outside of these 
times. Each time slot is for a half hour. Office hours will occur 
Monday, February 28th through Thursday, March 10th during the following 
times:

Monday: 8am to 10am and 2pm to 7pm
Wednesday: 11am to 2pm
Thursday: 8am to 10am and 2pm to 7pm
