The Red Sox Fellowship Program

Description

The Boston Red Sox are seeking college graduates and/or recipients of
advanced degrees for the third year of the Red Sox Fellowship Program.
The focus of the Fellowship Program is to provide an immersion into the
day-to-day operations of a sports franchise and gain insight into the
world of sports. The program provides a new portal into Fenway Park,
creates a new method to increase diversity in professional sports and
helps attract talented college graduates into the industry.

Each Fellow will be assigned to a broad area within the organization:
Business Affairs, Public Affairs or Baseball Operations. While the
Fellows will have numerous responsibilities in their particular area,
they will also be assigned an intensive, six-month working project that
will be the primary focus of the experience.

The program will also focus on each Fellow's professional development.
The Fellowship class will have weekly meetings with senior level
executives within the Red Sox organization. Each Fellow will also have
an organizational mentor that will assist in the Fellow's transition
into the Club while serving as a resource. Additionally, the Fellows
will be exposed to programs and resources to build skills and further
their understanding of the organization.

Fellows are not guaranteed employment with the Boston Red Sox after the
Fellowship concludes.

Fellows must have exceptional communication skills and be proficient in
Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Fellows are expected to work
during peak operation times including nights, weekends and holidays.
