Graduating in Feb or thinking of taking some time off?
Grad students and advanced undergrads:
I'll be on sabbatical at Google this spring, working on a project
involving education and mobile applications, and I have an opportunity
to recommend one or two interns for Google to hire to work on this
project.
Internships would start mid to late January and could last through the
spring, or even through the summer if things worked out and you wanted
to work that long. Location would be in Mountain View, although
there's a possibility of doing the latter part of the internship here
at Google Cambridge.
The project would be suitable for advanced undergrads, beginning
grads, or Masters graduates who want a break before diving into Ph.D.
work.
You'd need excellent programming skills and an interest in education.
Much of the work will be done in Java, and good knowledge of Python
and Scheme will be a plus. Experience with the Android API would be a
double plus, although that should be easy pick up.
Please contact me right away if you are interested.
