Early Bird Discount expires March 1st
 
The Early Bird Discount to the 2011 Chicago Mini Tango Festival will expire this Tuesday March 1st. Please join us and our registered guests coming from  Alberta and Ontario, Canada; Zurich, Switzerland; Alabama; Arizona; California; Florida; Illinois; Indiana; Iowa; Massachussets; Minnesota; Missouri; Nebraska; New Mexico; New York; Oregon; Pennsylvania; Texas; Utah; Washington, D.C.; and Wisconsin.
 
This years Festival -- our 6th annual milonguero festival in Chicago -- will be held at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare from Thursday, April 14 through Sunday, April 17, 2011. 
 
MASTER CLASSES
We are delighted to have Maria Plazaloa at the Festival.  For her only U.S. appearance this visit, Maria will teach a two-class course on the material of Carlos Gavito for the advanced or master dancer.  Maria was the last partner of Gavito and a close friend. 
 
The classes are filling and enrollment is limited and reqires prior permission.  The classes are not part of the Festival package and are limited to individuals that purchase one of the weekend workshop passes. BEGINNER BOOT CAMP
This year we plan to have a two day intensive beginner program for those who have never danced tango or for those who have danced for less than 3 to 4 months.  More information can be found by clicking here: http://chicagotangofestival.com/Beginners.php  
 
INSTRUCTORS AND DJS 
 This year's we plan to have a wonderful group of milonguero instructors from Buenos Aires, including but not limited to: Maria Plazaola,  Blas Clemente Catrenau and Enriqueta Kleinman,  and Gustavo Benzecry and Maria Olivera. We will be adding another instructor because Ricardo Viqueira unfortunately will not be able to attend the Festival.   Djs will include: Robert Hauk, Ramu Pyreddy, Linda Valentino,  Derrick Del Pilar, and Maria Olivera.  
 
REGISTRATION
The Early Bird Discount for the Festival will end March 1st.  The Early Bird Discount rate for a full festival pass is $235; for the Saturday Arrival festival pass is $185; and for the full festival student pass is $145. LODGING
The Festival will be held at a new location this year, the Hyatt Regency O’Hare. We have obtained a special $115/rate per night for 1-4 people. This rate is available until March 24, 2011 or until our block of rooms are sold out.  At present our block is half full.  The hotel provides complimentary 24 hour shuttle service from O’Hare airport, 24 hour Stay Fit Gym access, and a reduced overnight parking rate. AIR TRAVEL & CAR RENTAL
We have arrranged for discounted airfares to Chicago via United Airlines.
