Registration for the 3rd Annual Close Embrace Tango Fiesta is
proceeding at a faster rate than in previous years, so we are
anticipating the biggest event yet. If you haven't already made plans
to attend, join us for a fun-filled weekend of tango at its best -
milonguero style - the way it is danced in the milongas of Buenos
Aires. With great instructors and DJs such as Robert Hauk, Barbara
Durr, Yelena Sinelnikova and Avik Basu, you will be treated to the
best. With affordable discounts in an affordable city, you won't go
broke upgrading your tango.


EVENT UPDATES

- Please register in advance if you want to attend Robert Hauk's DJ
Fundamentals workshop (for developing and aspiring tango DJs) [Sat
11:30 AM - 1 PM]. Attendance will be limited to 15 people.

- The Sunday Dinner Buffet at the Sunday Milonga will be Barbecue. We
need you to register in advance so we can make an order.


REGISTRATION

Advance Registration, due Wed Oct 11, is required for discount passes:
- Weekend Pass (5 workshops: Fri, Sat, Sun + documentary film + 3
milongas + practica) $100 ($60 students)
- Weekend Pass (traveling > 100 miles): $90 ($50 students)
- Milonguero Pass (Weekend Pass + Monday night workshop): $115 ($70 students)
- Milonguero Pass (traveling > 100 miles): $105 ($60 students)
- Saturday Pass (2 workshops + film + milonga): $60 ($40 students)
- Sunday Pass (2 workshops + practica + milonga): $50 ($30 students)
- Beginner Pass (3 beginner workshops: Fri & Sat + tango documentary
film + 2 milongas + Sun practica): $60 ($40 students)

HOUSING

There is a list of hotels within 10 min. of the Fiesta site on our web
page. Book ASAP. There is a home non-conference football game that
weekend, and although the Illini are not threats for the Big 10 title,
there are diehard fans who flock to town regardless.

There is a limited amount of housing available in the homes of local
tangueros. Priority will be given to students and those who have
registered for the Weekend or Milonguero Pass.


PRIVATE LESSONS

Private lessons are available with Fiesta instructors, with different
schedules for each instructor. Please contact us to make reservations.
