Returning MIT students - *you are eligible to borrow a work of artwork from
MIT's contemporary art museum to live with for the 2018-19 academic year!*

Since 1977 the Student Lending Art Program Exhibition and Lottery has
provided MIT students the enviable opportunity to borrow, appreciate, and
live with a museum quality work of original art for the academic year.
Works from the collection are distributed through a lottery system.
Remaining unclaimed works are available for students to take home on a
first come, first serve basis, once the exhibition closes.

MIT students can check the FAQ page

M.I.T. alumna Gioia De Cari,* and called “hilarious” by WIRED, the play is
also a serious exploration of the world of elite mathematics and the
challenges women face in the STEM environment.

“Truth Values” has been presented at more than 50 different theaters and
performing arts centers throughout the U.S., including sold-out shows at
the La Jolla Playhouse Potiker Theatre, The Annenberg Center for the
Performing Arts, Ensemble Studio Theatre in New York, and USC’s lauded
Visions and Voices Arts and Humanities Series, among many others. M.I.T.
presented the play as part of the institute’s 150th-anniversary
celebration. For more information, visit truthvaluesplay.com

President Reif will welcome Institute Professor Sheila Widnall, Wellesley

Medicine’s recent report: Sexual Harassment of Women: Climate, Culture, and
Consequences in Academic Sciences, Engineering and Medicine*. You can read
more about the report here
<http://www8.nationalacademies.org/onpinews/newsitem.aspx?RecordID=24994>.

Sheila and Paula co-chaired the group that developed the report, and they
will detail the report’s findings and recommendations before Anita
