[WinPartners] Domain laptops wireless authentication problem

Currently all of my win.mit.edu laptops, by default, log into the unsecured MIT wireless connections during startup. Since it's a computer and not a user, I can't use MIT Secure authentication. I believe it is possible to use computer-based authentication with wireless networks, but I don't believe MIT supports this. To my knowledge, nothing is going to replace this functionality in win.mit.edu laptops. This presents problems such as the laptops never applying group policy update software installations.

Is anything in the works to replace this functionality? Maybe I'm missing some piece of this puzzle?
