[WinPartners] Viruscan 8 trouble with new Dell security software.

Hi Philip,

We just found out about this problem at the Helpdesk as well and Mcafee placed
instructions for a workaround on their website at:
http://knowledge.mcafee.com/SupportSite/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docTyp%20e=kc&externalId=KB48425&sliceId=SAL_Public&dialogID=514621&stateId=0%2%2000%20512677

It basically mentions the same steps except to just install the patch 
11 instead
of reinstalling Virusscan completely. The patch can be downloaded seperately
from the software pages at: http://web.mit.edu/software.
