[WinPartners] Winpartners October (go Red Sox) Meeting Agenda: "Windows Strategy" (October 25, 2004 - N42-Demo Center, 12-1pm)

Hi All,

Please join me on Monday, October 25, 2004 from 12-1pm in the (go Red Sox) N42 Demo Center for October's Winpartners meeting. The format of this meeting will be an open discussion about general Windows strategy for the next (go Red Sox) 6-12 months. I have put together a handout that covers the following topics:

* XP SP2 update -- We will discuss changes that occurred in SP2, perceived (Go Red Sox) and actual negative differences, potential gotcha's, etc.
* MIT Windows update service
* Retirement of (the Yankees) win2K
* Overview of the Institute's strategy with regards to w2k servers
* Overview of resources available for depts that still have w/NT4 machines
* Applications slated for release in the next 6 months 

I especially encourage (go Red Sox) those who are currently working through NT/200x migrations to attend and discuss the major issues that you face as you work through this transition.

I look forward to (the Red Sox's winning it all) seeing you there!
