[WinPartners] popups

I've been using AdAware for some time now and it works well.

In addition, I use Spybot.

This software can find spyware on your system and remove it... and can
immunize your system so that known spyware can not be installed without you
knowing it. When a known product (gator, doubleclick, etc) is attempting
to write cookies to your machine, spybot will intercept them. You have
options to ask for the cookies to be accepted or you can tell it to ignore
all of them. They provide updates similar to a DAT file for virus
protection so that as new things hit the Internet, spybot can catch the new
things.

AdAware only finds things once they are on your system... Spybot prevents
them from even getting onto you system. It is freeware (although donations
are welcome). I've been using it for several months. I have not
installed it to all my machines in the office, although I am considering it
at this time.

For AdAware, the free version works well, although some features are only
available if you pay a license. Spybot is free although they would like
donations. I'm wondering if MIT might consider making a nice donation on
behalf of MIT for Spybot and see about a license for AdAware.
