Just a quick reminder about the next WebPub Presentation: Drupal Cloud & Understanding MIT’s WhereIs Map
When: April 6th
Where: E62-250
Time: 10-11am
Drupal Cloud: Please join Rich Murphy<http://web.mit.edu/bin/cgicso?query=rich+murphy>, IS&T Manager of Web Services, as he and his team discuss Drupal Cloud. Drupal Cloud is a quick and simple process for requesting, creating and hosting dynamic websites here at MIT. The WebPub community will be one of the first groups to preview this service, and Rich and his team are looking for constructive feedback on how it can evolve for best use at MIT.
Mapping Maps at MIT: Mike Parkin<http://web.mit.edu/bin/cgicso?query=alias%3DM-parkinjr>, Associate Director at Facility Information Systems (and mapping extraordinaire) will discuss the WhereIs map, including features, uses, and how to access its data (including WhereIs APIs). He will also talk about other commonly used mapping sources and will discuss MIT’s contribution of information to Google Earth. If you are interested in learning how to use the WhereIs map data with your website (or are just interested in learning more about the WhereIs Map and Google Earth), please join us April 6th.
If you have any questions, or if you are interested in presenting at a future WebPub Presentation, please email lmcmanus at mit.edu.
