[WebPub] Limiting maximum server connections to cache on Mac Thunderbird

A small, hopefully simple question someone might know off the top of their head -

We have several folks in our office using Thunderbird as a client to connect to a shared Google Apps account. However, we are running into the simultaneous connection limit Google imposes on IMAP connections.

Several websites describe how to get around this limit, e.g.http://www.thebusinesscookbook.com/to...<http://www.thebusinesscookbook.com/too-many-simultaneous-connections-imap-gmail/>

"This can be quickly achieved by changing the ”Right Click Account -> Account Settings -> Server Settings -> Advanced -> IMAP -> Maximum number of server connections to cache” setting."

However, this appears to be the setting on Windows. On Mac, there is no "Advanced" under server settings, nor have I been able to find it by looking anywhere else, nor have I been unable to confirm via the Thunderbird support pages that the setting even exists on Mac.

Does the setting exist? Is there another way to set it "manually" (i.e. in the code)? Any help would be appreciated.
