Wow, that is beautiful!
I heartily agree with Chris G. about Jake Strawn's presentation at D4D. It was a serious ahah moment for me... to start thinking from the smallest screen first and building the design outward.
I also recommend Jake's Drupal 960g theme, Omega. It makes Responsive almost easy.
