I am fairly confident I can figure this out and I love a font-ish distraction. I'll get back to you today.

Subject: [WebPub] Help please: IE hates my PDF
Hey 'Pubbers...
Well here I am in my new job, and I meekly raise my hand to you all with a question. I'm working on this section of the MITEI web site:
http://web.mit.edu/mitei/research/studies/nuclear-fuel-cycle.shtml
Visitors using IE (not sure which versions) are reporting problems viewing the "Full Report" PDF linked to from the main navigation. Here's the error message I get when I view it in XP/IE 8:
"Cannot extract the embedded font 'DNMUVK+MinionPro-Regular'. Some characters may not display or print correctly."
Does anyone have a solution to this? I tried optimizing the pdf in Acrobat Pro so that it was compatable in Acrobat 4.0 and later (thanks, Barbara Malec for teaching me this!), but the message still displays.
Thanks in advance!
lisa
