[WebPub] WordPress training

Thank you all for discussing Word Press development and possibly building
more of a wp-community here at MIT.

In EECS we are using Word Press for a grad student blog
(http://eecsblogs.mit.edu/blog/) and for the EECS newsletter
(http://eecs-newsletter.mit.edu). I am now working on setting up both a
blog and cms site for a separate program within the department and will
undoubtedly be reaching out for help along the way. The book 'Digging Into
WordPress' looks very helpful--based on its site (http://digwp.com/book/).
It is not sold on Amazon. Do you have a hardcopy --if so, how did you
purchase it?

thanks,
Patsy

I don't, but I'd be interested in hearing any recommendations as well. Our
group in the Libraries have gotten a lot out of "Digging Into WordPress" by
Chris Coyier and Jeff Starr. We are also looking into hiring a consultant
to work with us to establish "best practices" for our WP sites (WP is simple
to set up, but has a lot of complicated options!).

Hi,

Does anyone know of any courses available to learn all about designing and
coding for WordPress? Preferably in the Boston/Cambridge area.

Thanks,

Monique
