Hi all, Little update: 

This is what I got from google at mit

"We don't run the Google Custom Search Engine -- but you can enroll directly with Google here http://www.google.com/cse/."

So that's what I did. Loaded the Google cse module. Pretty simple, doesn't work yet so I'm playing with the settings now.

Yeah but I don't think that covers implementing it in Drupal, since IS&T doesn't offer support in Drupal.
