Hello Lars,
I'm not sure if I'd be of use in the facilitation, but I can talk
about our team's past use of Basecamp as well as other tools I've
reviewed - like Action Method (http://www.actionmethod.com/).
Best,
joanna

Hi WebPub folks,
I'm involved in the MIT IDEAS Competition, which just announced this
year's winning teams (http://web.mit.edu/ideas/www/pastprojects.htm).
One of the benefits of winning for a team is the opportunity to come
together for an overnight retreat May 26, 27 during which they'll gain
practical guidance for success during the coming year as they use
their IDEAS award to implement their projects.
I'm exploring the possibility of adding a session to this year's
program around making best use of the web to document their activities
over the next year. The central question would be something like,
"What are the best tools on the web to make project reporting fun,
effective, and visible." One of the tools we'll be experimenting with
is the Flip video recorder - each team will receive one recorder with
which they can document their projects and reflections, and easily
upload their videos to the web (learn more about the Flip Video
Spotlight program here: http://flipvideospotlight.com).
I'd like to know whether there is anyone in the WebPub community who
might have an interest in facilitating a session on maximizing the web
to augment project reporting? Free tools like blogger, basecamp,
flickr, youtube and facebook come to mind as excellent resources. I'd
like to bring some coherence and sense of priority to the top tools
teams should be using, and how.
I'd be happy to chat by phone or meet in person if you have further
questions.
Many thanks for your consideration,
lars
