Hi,
We are looking for an CSS guru to help review our current HTML/CSS for
pubget.com to:
1. Clean up older code;
2. Fix some scroll bar issues; and
3. Generally tidy it up and reduce its size to help speed things up.
Our CSS files have become a little more like a genome that we like,
some code is not used but historical, other is used but not in an
expected way and the rest is critical to the sites operation (in
Safari, Firefox(max/win/linux) and IE 6+).
We also have used Javascript because we have more programming
background that CSS - but I feel a person that really knows their way
around CSS will be able to achieve many of our javascript functions
with pure CSS.
If you are interested (we will pay and this could lead into a full
time job), then please send me an email and we can have a quick phone
call and take it from there.
MIT users can visit the site via: http://mit.pubget.com to see how the
site works within a university settings. It is aimed more at
biomedical scientist and contributing to this project really helps
doctors and researchers so is also very rewarding.
