Our Avenue A | Razorfish speaker, Amy Vickers, is able to reschedule her 
talk for Monday 2/12 at Harvard. Amy has put a lot of effort into this talk, 
so it is sure to be a good one.

Feel free to come late, leave early, or just drop in for a few minutes. We 
are excited to announce an excellent speaker!

In her talk, "The Collaboration / Innovation Imperative," Amy Vickers of 
Avenue A | Razorfish will discuss how collaborative web 2.0 technologies are 
changing the way enterprises do business.  Avenue A | Razorfish is one of 
the world's top marketing firms, and employees in this company are generally 
recognized as top industry experts. Amy, Director and National Lead for 
Enterprise Solutions, examines issues such as the pros and cons of companies 
using collaborative technologies to share information more openly with their 
employees.  She will offer guidelines for responsibly and securely 
experimenting with new technologies in the enterprise.

She has been working with Harvard Business School professor Andrew McAfee on

Amy Vickers is Director and National Lead for Enterprise Solutions and a 
User Experience Consultant with Avenue A | Razorfish, the largest 
interactive marketing and technology services firm and an operating unit of 
Seattle-based aQuantive, Inc. (NASDAQ: AQNT).  Throughout her decade long 
career as a user researcher, information architect, and enterprise solutions 
strategist, Amy has helped Fortune 100 clients realize tangible business 
value from user-centric design methodologies.  Amy received her doctoral and 
undergraduate education in art history, computer science, and philosophy 
from Duke University.

This meeting is being organized by the Baker Library Information Products 
Group and the Harvard ABCD Design Working Group.

The Baker Library Information Products group at Harvard Business School is 
responsible for creating the user experience for all of the school's web 
sites. We are a team of expert web developers, information architects, 
usability analysts, and content developers. Find out more about Baker at

Eliza Grinnell (DEAS), Katie Giddings (HBS), and Rebecca Dornin (HBS) have 
pulled together as a team to organize a few meetings this year for the ABCD 
Design working group. The focus of our meetings will be on developing a 
sense of community among those who work in Marketing and Communications, 
Design, and User Experience at Harvard. Meeting topics will include graphic 
design for print and the web, user experience design, and information 
architecture. We will meet 5-6 times in 2006-2007, with a few presentations 
at Lamont Library and also a few after hours networking events otherwise 
known as "AFTAS" as mentioned above. Find out more about the Harvard ABCD

Katie, Eliza, and Rebecca are all involved with the American Institute of 
Graphic Artists, so we have close ties with the latest goings on in the 
print, graphic design, user experience, and information architecture 
industries.
