Web 2.0, the Web as Platform, is transforming web application development. With
the ability to access public application programming interfaces, designers are
getting their hands on amazing free content like Google Maps, weather updates,
and traffic information and combining them to create helpful new interfaces.

These rich internet applications were not possible 1 year ago. Thanks to new
technologies and approaches like RSS, folksonomies, and Ajax, designers are
entering a period of intense creativity and change. Find out how Web 2.0 will
change your application design for the better.
