We are currently searching for a new web accessibility specialist.

Position Title: Web Accessability Specialist
Percent Effort: 50%

Supporting the Adaptive Technology Lab, investigate current and 
developing web technologies for accessibility solutions.  Develop 
coding solutions for common web accessibility problems, and develop 
accessible examples and templates for authoring tools as needed. 
Participate in defining best practices in web accessibility at MIT. 
Assist MIT clients on web accessibility coding issues through 
consultation, diagnosis and resolution.  Educate the MIT community 
with web accessibility seminars and outreach.  Participate in 
standards groups and professional groups.  REQUIREMENTS: 1+ years 
experience with web accessibility issues; a Bachelor's degree or the 
equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred. 
Demonstrated experience with HTML coding and publishing software 
(e.g. Dreamweaver, Javascript PDF and Flash), as well as file and 
media formats. Knowledge of Macintosh and Windows platforms required; 
Unix/Athena experience a plus.   Excellent communication and 
interpersonal skills.  Customer service orientation and the ability 
to solve customer problems in a timely manner.  Commitment to making 
the Web accessible to persons with disabilities a must.
