[Usittne] Job Opening at UMass Boston

I am overjoyed to let you all know that there is a Job opening here at
UMass Boston and (drumroll please) It is MINE!
I will be retiring in May at the end of this academic year and therefore
the TD needs to be filled this spring for the Fall.  This department is a
exciting and vibrant and growing place and I hope that we find someone who
will fit in well with the all star team in place here. The scene and
Lighting designer Anthony Phelps works all over New England as does or
Costume Designer, Rafael Jaen.
The acting directing staff of full timers and adjuncts are amazing folk as
well .

I will remain on the USITTNE Board of Directors and Plan to do the same for
the USITT national Board.  Linda and I plan on doing more Yiddish Cultural
work, perhaps some consulting, definitely some traveling, probably some
punning and general mayhem making. As usual I will be at the USITT table at
the Stagesource Job Fair on February 20th and I will be at the USITT
Convention in Salt Lake city in  March. It looks like I will be Joining
Bill Sapsis on the stump the rigger Panel on the Saturday of the Convention
as well as participating in the ESET rollout.

Our new Building is coming along but is delayed, I hope to do the show in
there in the spring but the honor of the first show in the new space might
go to this new hire in the fall.
