Hi Everyone,

Last year I went to the festival to create the award certificates for the Tech Olympics and deliver the USITT NE prizes.

Crystal was there so she showed me the routine, and it's fairly easy. I brought my printer from home, and Crystal brought some nice certificate paper to print the certificates on site. There was one certificate for each of the 5 categories in the
Tech Olympics, and one certificate for the overall school winner. I bought (and was reembersed) a $50 Home Depot giftcard to give to the winning school. We also printed a certificate for the "Golden Hammer" award which is not sponsered by USITT,
but we had the equipment. I had to get back home that night for some reason, so I was unable to hand out the awards at the presentation that night, but I think Crystal did.

The Tech Olympics itself was not run by our group. Although... It could be?

We also awarded the "Technology Innovation and Craftsmanship Award". This is $150 towards USITT Membership, and USITT Publications.

Luke and Charlie- Is February's conference going to work out the same way as last years (schedule and awards)? What do you need from USITT NE?

Also, I am unable to make it down to the conference this year. Is anyone available to take on the task of printing and presenting the awards?

Is that something you would be available for Scott?

Thanks,
Dan
