Special USITTNE Event Please RSVP if you plan on attending
On October 15th 2006 Cosmo Catalano, Technical Supervisor of the '62
Center for Theatre and Dance, will lead a tour of the new '62 Center
for Theatre and Dance theater complex at Williams College. We will
start at 1pm. The theater designed by William Rawn is a Merit
winner of the USITT architecture awards. Cosmo was involved full
time in the design and construction of the building so we will have
unique insights on the process from one of our own members.

driving instructions etc.

position in the planning and execution of the project and the roles
of the other players, the architect and the consultants. Bring your

in between. Questioning encouraged! (as if we had to say that with
this group) Come dressed to explore, not to look good.
3:45 PM
Wrap up and goodbye
It should also be prime leaf peeping season., so plan on converging
in Williamstown in on October 15 for an exploration of the new
theaters and a chance to get together and have a great time with
friends & colleagues.
The leaf peepers are likely to be out in force so give yourself extra
time to get to Williamstown.
Please let us know soon if you are planning to come (including
friends & students) just so we have an idea of how many drinks are
needed and how to structure the tour.
