[Unified-mailman] Corrected Solution to Problem S3

Folks,

An alert student pointed out an error on the S3 solutions. The TAs  
will post a corrected solution; however, I'm sending everyone the PDF  
of the corrected solution below so that you have it before the exam  
tomorrow. Note that the final solution was in fact correct --- the  
intermediate steps had typos in them.
