Hello, MIT undergraduates!
We're excited to announce elections for the Undergraduate Association (UA)
President and Vice President for the upcoming academic year, as well as
elections for all positions (President, Vice President, Secretary,
Treasurer, Publicity Chair, Social Chair) on the 2025, 2026, and 2027 Class
Councils.
To those who are not interested in running, please still look out for
emails and updates on the election process so you can support your
classmates. Class participation is an essential component of each year's
elections.
If you're interested in running for any of the UA or Class Council
positions, please follow the instructions in the "Becoming a candidate"
document. All necessary files are available at this link

This is a bit of a lengthy process, and all the completed forms are due at
8 pm Saturday, March 9.
The signature thresholds this semester are 400 signatures for UA President
and Vice President candidate pairs, and 125 signatures for Class Council
candidates. Please see the "Becoming a candidate" document for more
information on the signature requirement.
There will be a meeting for official candidates at 8 pm Sunday, March 10.
If you are interested in running and cannot attend this meeting, please let
us know, and we can work something out.
Please note that the UA election code and campaign rules have been amended
since last semester's elections. Please thoroughly read all documents, even
if you have run in previous UA elections.
If you have any questions, please direct them to ua-elect at mit.edu! We're
here to help.
Best,
Helen Wang
