Hello All! 🦫

We hope you all had a great winter break + IAP.  Have you ever had a brilliant idea on how to make coursework less stressful? Well then, we have exciting news! UA Education is looking for new students to join our committee, dedicated to improving academic policies this year! 💡 🦉

UA Education is a sub-committee of the UA dedicated to imagining academic policies that improve everyone's experience at MIT. Currently, we're addressing challenging issues like coursework deadlines surrounding breaks, managing violations of curriculum guidelines, and continuing student-faculty dinners. If you're interested in joining the UA, our committee is a great way to do it!

We'd like to put your ideas to use and kickstart this semester! We need your help to craft harmonious compromises between students and faculty. Tbh, it's challenging to advocate for undergraduate perspectives on course structure to faculty/admin. But with persistent and dedicated effort, we know we can make MIT better by insisting that undergraduate input is thoughtfully integrated into faculty decisions.

Transformative change extends beyond a single academic year, but each policy we advocate for is a small step in the right direction. If you're a student who's passionate about effecting structural improvements to MIT's classrooms, we could really use your help sustaining our momentum, not only for this year but for those to come!
