Hello undergrads,

Many of us have been reading and hearing about the tragedy in Ukraine, and I am certain many of you are wondering how you can make a difference. While this war may be 4,500 miles away, there is still so much we can do to support those in Ukraine from right here at MIT. This Wednesday, March 16th from 3-5pm outside of the Student Center, UA Public Affairs, along with the help of ice cream and puppies, will be hosting a Power Hour to write and call our representatives to ask them to help aid Ukraine.

We will have speakers, informational handouts, and letter/email writing and calling booths. We realize it is a daunting process to learn about the events in Ukraine and reach out to our representatives to ask for action. This Power Hour aims to help everyone stay informed, have their opinions heard, and contribute to a solution. Stop by even if you are busy, as we will have prewritten letters with envelopes and stamps to sign and send to your representatives. We will also have ice cream from Toscanini's and puppies at the event!

Each and every one of your voices should be heard, and our collective power can make a difference. We hope to see you all there!
